To delete your Instagram account, you will need to use a web browser (as it's not possible to delete your account through the Instagram app). Here are the steps to follow:
Go to the Instagram account deletion page:
www.instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/permanent/
Log in to your account: Enter your username and password to log in to the account you want to delete.
Select a reason for deleting your account: Select a reason for why you are deleting your account from the drop-down menu.
Re-enter your password: Type in your account's password again to confirm that you want to delete it.
Click on "Permanently delete my account": This will delete your account permanently and all of your data will be removed from the Instagram servers.
Please note, once you delete your account, it can't be restored again, so make sure you are sure before you delete it. Also, it will take up to 14 days to delete all the data after you delete your account, so you will not be able to use it during that time.
