Anarse is a traditional Indian sweet made with whole wheat flour, ghee, and sugar. Here is a recipe for making Anarse:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

  • 3/4 cup ghee

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, melt the ghee over medium heat.

  2. Add the whole wheat flour to the pan and roast it in the ghee until it turns a light golden brown color.

  3. In a separate pan, bring the sugar and water to a boil, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture becomes syrupy.

  4. Add the cardamom powder to the syrup and stir to combine.

  5. Add the syrup to the roasted flour and mix well until a smooth dough forms.

  6. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them between your palms to form smooth, round Anarse.

  7. Arrange the Anarse on a plate and serve them warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
